About Asphalt Denver

Asphalt Denver is an asphalt contractor working across Denver and the surrounding metro area. We pave, repair, seal, patch, mill and stripe: residential driveways, HOA and condo drives, apartment and retail lots, industrial yards, private roads and truck courts. One crew handles the lot from the base up, so nobody hands off blame halfway through.

How the work runs is straightforward. We come out and look at the site, measure it, check what the base and the drainage are doing, then send a written estimate that lists the scope, the depth and the square footage. We turn up on the dates we agreed, protect what needs protecting, and sweep before we leave. If something on site turns out different to what we quoted, we stop and talk to you before spending your money.

The part people notice most is the advice. Asphalt is easy to oversell, because a rebuild always sounds safer than a repair and it is worth a lot more to the contractor. We would rather tell you the crack sealing and two patches will hold for another five years, and be the people you call when it finally does need replacing.

What you can expect

  • Honest scoping

We quote what the pavement needs, not what pays best. When repair and replacement are genuinely close, both numbers go in the estimate so the decision is yours with the figures in front of you.

  • The base before the surface

Almost every asphalt failure we get called to started underneath, with water in the base or a subgrade that was never compacted properly. Prep is where we spend the time, and it is itemized so you can see it.

  • Written, itemized, comparable

Every estimate carries square footage, depth, scope and exclusions. That makes it possible to compare us against another contractor on something other than the total at the bottom.

  • Respect for a working property

Commercial sites keep trading. We phase the work, keep a route to the doors open, run at night where that suits better, and give you dates and access notes you can pass to tenants.

Where we work

We cover Denver and the surrounding metro area, from the central Denver neighborhoods out through Aurora, Centennial, Thornton, Brighton, Parker, Westminster, Highlands Ranch, Lafayette, Lakewood, Littleton, Arvada and Broomfield. Every area has its own page with local detail on the housing and commercial stock and the asphalt problems that come with it. If your property sits just outside that ring, ask anyway.

Frequently asked questions

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Certificates of insurance are issued before we mobilize on commercial sites, and we are happy to send them for residential work too. Work in the public right-of-way, such as a curb cut or a new access drive, has to be done by a licensed contractor, and we handle those permits.

Do you do residential and commercial work?

Both. A single driveway and a hundred-stall retail lot use the same materials and the same rollers. What changes is the section depth, the phasing, the traffic control and the paperwork. Commercial sites usually get staged or run at night so tenants keep trading. Estimates are written and itemized either way.
